A new view of your cellar

Vinintory brings your collection to life with an interactive map of your physical cellar, detailed information about every bottle, and new ways to explore what you own. See exactly where your wines are stored, discover what is ready to drink, get recommendations from your own collection, and keep track of changes as they happen.

It works alongside CellarTracker, preserving your collection history, tasting notes, community ratings and drinking windows, while adding a more visual and intuitive way to manage and enjoy your cellar.

Stop 1 of 9 · Setting the table

Your cellar at a glance

Start with a complete picture of your collection. The overview counts the bottles on hand, how many have a place on the map, how many slots stand open, which bottles are bought but not yet delivered, and how many have been drunk. Below that are the collection’s acquisition cost, CellarTracker’s current valuation of it, how that compares with what you paid, and how the valuation has moved since the last revaluation (blurred here, as throughout the tour). Every rack, refrigerator and cabinet has a card of its own showing how full it is, one tap from its layout on the map. All of it is drawn from your CellarTracker records, so there is no second inventory to maintain.

Stop 2 of 9 · Cellar map

See your entire cellar

The visual cellar is at the heart of Vinintory. Every rack, refrigerator, cabinet, bin and bottle position is recreated as it stands in reality, built when your cellar is onboarded, whether your collection fills a single wine fridge or several rooms. The map is more than a guide to where bottles are. Choose from six views: Occupancy, Drinking window, Type, Worth, Score or Change, the last being each bottle’s valuation against what you paid for it. Two measures can be combined: here the squares are coloured by drinking window while the dots show the score, so a highly rated wine that is ready to drink stands out at once. Tap any square to see the bottle in it. When new wines arrive, the map can also show you where there is room.

Stop 3 of 9 · A rack

Explore every rack

Select any rack to see its positions at full size, with a detailed table of its bottles underneath. Choose a bottle and it moves to the top of the table, set apart, followed by every other bottle of the same wine and vintage. On the rack those matching bottles are edged in gold, so you can see at a glance whether a case is stored together or spread across several bins, or that one bottle has ended up somewhere on its own. For a larger collection, where bottles of the same wine often occupy different locations, this replaces the usual hunt with a torch.

Find the wine you’re looking for

Your entire inventory in one searchable, sortable list. Order it by wine, vintage, drinking window, score, cost, worth, change in value or where it is stored. Each row is washed in the colour of its drinking window, so wines still developing are easy to tell from those approaching or at their peak. Tap a category in the key, such as At peak or Too young, and those bottles rise to the top. Search by producer, wine, region, vintage, tag number or store, and the list narrows as you type. Whether you are after a particular bottle or simply deciding what to open tonight, you can settle it here before you go down the stairs.

Stop 5 of 9 · A bottle

Everything about a bottle, in one place

Tap any bottle, on the map or in the list, and its record opens. It shows the producer, wine, vintage, region, score and drinking window, and exactly where the bottle is, down to the bin and slot. It also shows what you paid, CellarTracker’s current valuation and where the bottle came from, which this tour blurs. From the same sheet you can mark the bottle drunk or move it to another position. Vinintory records the change the moment you make it and queues it for CellarTracker, so your day-to-day handling of the cellar stays connected to the authoritative record.

Stop 6 of 9 · Scan

Identify the exact bottle

CellarTracker prints a barcode tag for every bottle. Scan opens your phone’s camera, reads the tag, and brings up that bottle’s record: where it belongs, its drinking window and the rest of its details. Unlike label recognition, which identifies a wine by producer and vintage, this identifies the specific bottle in your collection, which matters when you hold several of the same wine, bought at different times or stored in different places. It is the quickest way to put a bottle back where it goes, to check one you have just taken out, or to work through a box of new arrivals. Nothing to type, no list to scroll.

Stop 7 of 9 · Ask

Ask your cellar’s sommelier

Sometimes the difficulty is not finding a bottle but deciding which one to open. Vinintory’s AI sommelier works from your actual inventory. Ask in plain words: something for roast chicken on a weeknight, five wines for an Oktoberfest lunch, what to drink before it fades. It weighs the food, the drinking window, the wine’s quality and whether a bottle is better opened now or kept for a better occasion, then suggests bottles you actually own, each with a short reason, and serving advice where it helps, such as how cool to keep the whites. The conversation continues naturally; refine it by type, price or occasion without starting again. The sommelier informs your choices but never changes your inventory.

Stop 8 of 9 · World

Your collection, around the world

Every collection has a geography. The world map marks the producers represented in your cellar, with a count of bottles for each country and dots sized by how many bottles you hold from each producer. Zoom from the whole world to a country, a region and down to the village. You can also include producers whose wines you have already drunk, so the map reflects your collecting history and not only what is on the shelf today. It is an engaging way to see where your holdings are concentrated, and to notice the corners of the wine world your cellar has not yet reached.

Connected to CellarTracker

Vinintory works alongside CellarTracker, not in place of it. CellarTracker remains the authoritative record of your collection, with its inventory history, tasting notes, community ratings and drinking windows intact. As you drink and move bottles, Vinintory records each change and gathers them into batches for CellarTracker. Each batch is a link that opens CellarTracker with the right bottles already staged; you complete the change with CellarTracker’s own button. Afterwards Vinintory reads CellarTracker’s export back and reconciles the inventory, so the two agree.
